Research question re:sailboats

Has anyone on my flist ever lived aboard a sailboat? I'm thinking one in the 45-60 LOA range, and I need an idea of the practicalities and daily life aboard, both sailing and in a berth. I also need an idea of how internet connections and cable tv hookups work when moored in a marina.

Yes, I'm weird. Yes, I'm doing research. Don't know where it will end up, but it's sure to be an interesting story when it's done. ;)
