I hope everyone had a good time with the Zombipocalypse. Part of me really, really wishes I was still in academia--I would love to do some research on the phenomenon of the participatory narrative, interactive literature and global blogging. What we saw yesterday was truly a beautiful thing. I hope it isn't forgotten.
For me, the hardest part was playing dead for 10 hours.
alphafem in particular made my heart bleed with the did-it-or-din't-it nature of her last posts. The concept of the virus being spread by a kiss? Pure gold.
I know some folks got offended by the nature of the Zombipocalypse. I am truly sorry if I offended. I hope that looking at things in the fresh light of a zombiless morning makes it somewhat less offensive.
New folks--I'm not normally this entertaining. Most of my journalling recently has been angsting over a recent breakup. Personally, I've needed an exercise in rebirth. The zombipocalypse has worked admirably.
