Jan. 30th, 2010 08:12 pmThe tax refund is here, so there's been some late Christmas gifts making an appearance. I've got two really great things. One is Button ("the red, shiny, candy-like button"), my new Eee PC. Button will soon be running Dragon, and with the new microphone headset I can start writing again! Yay! I'm debating if I want to use Word or yWriter. Word is more versatile, but I really like yWriter's chapter sorting.
The other thing I got is my new-to-me wheelchair. He's poiple, and has so many bits that fold up or swing away that I'm pretty sure he's a Transformer. Would a Transformachair be and Autobot or a Decepticon? This is an important question, since I firmly intend to plant the insignia of one or the other somewhere on him, and I want to make sure I get it right. Current plans for dressing him up include an under-seat missile launcher, tassels on the handlebars, rude bumperstickers and flames. There may be a radio installed to see if he develops the urge to communicate with me. I need to come up with a good name for him.
