New chair squee!
Jun. 30th, 2010 01:22 amHave I mentioned that my brother Bert is Teh Awesome with Awesomesauce? Well, he is. He's been listening to me kvetch about wanting a new wheelchair - one that's built for my measurements, instead of the standard starter chair I have now. So he sent me the money to buy one. o.0 I was kinda flabbergasted, but very appreciative.
So I've narrowed down which chair I want, I know what measurements I need to take, and we're down to the most important decision - frame and upholstery color. So many choices! On the good side, there's a fun little app that lets me try out the different options, but I can't decide what I want. Right now, I have a purple frame with black uphosltery. Should I keep that combo? Go for bright "notice me" colors? Camo it out? All I'm sure of is I don't want something plain and traditional.
And yes, I've already been looking at places to buy flame decals and under-seat lights...
ETA: Proving that good deeds breed, my starter chair is going to a dear friend who needs one of her own. :) I'm very happy I can help her out like this.
