Oct. 14th, 2010 09:02 pmIt appears this little cutie girl will be coming home with us, just as soon as she's microchipped and vet cleared.
She's sweet, friendly, quiet and perfectly happy to lay in my lap on first meeting. On the elements of the Volhard PAT I could check in a parking lot, she scored all 3s and 4s, which is ideal for a service dog. She's only about 6 pounds, and not anticipated to get any bigger. Yes, she has green eyes.
Still need a good name for the little fluffball. Her current moniker is Tinkerbell, which is the nickname of my aunt. Having a dog with the same name as a family member is not a politic thing to do.
ETA: My aunt goes by Tinkie, and her maiden name was Bell. There's no variant of Tinkerbell that works. I'd also like to stay away from the "cutsey" names you'd expect a toy poodle to have, yanno?
