Oh, my.

Must participate.

Da Rules:
A Livejournal challenge in the same tradition as BLITEOTW, except this will be ten days of journaling how life would be different if magic were real.

This will run from July 11th when the new Harry Potter movie debuts until July 21st when the final Harry Potter book is released.

On days 1-4 (July 11-14), magic suddenly works for you, however you want it to, spells, wishes, etc.

On days 5-9 (July 15-20), now everyone is starting to notice that magic works, leading up to...

Day 10 (July 21), when it is all out magic war as people chose sides and fight it out.

What would Muggles do? Be ruled by a brutal magiocracy.

D'you know if there's a central link for it the way there was for BLITEOTW?

WOW! I would like to do this. But does that mean that I have to turn my entire blog over to this challenge? What if something else happens that I want to blog about? And I already know that I'll be camping at Storvik Novice Tourney, and therefore offline, on the 14th.

Do it however you want, hon. It's a creative writing exercise. :)

I think I just MIGHT join in this fray. It's been quite a while since I gave such a challenge as this a go.

BLITEOTW was great. Even though I died early on (I had a meeting that day, and believe me, I would have much rather been facing zombies than dealing with that administrator), it forced me to actually write instead of indulging in my usual navel-gazing. I'm hoping for the same results with the WWMD exercise.

The only things I know for sure are:

1) If it's theological magic and demons can be summoned, the world is doomed. The paint on the "Thank you for not summoning Spawn of the Abyss" sign won't even have time to dry.

2) If it's not theological magic (only works if you do "witchy" things a la Harry Potter, and prayers and/or faith do not provide any defense against it) every Christian in the world is dead meat.
