dezaYay, surgery.
We don't have the final date yet, pending the insurance folks agreeing to the whole shebang, but sometime in the next few weeks I'll be having knee surgery. The surgeon is going in unsure exactly which procedure he'll be doing. Either he'll be inserting pins into my leg to provide stability while the bone hopefully heals itself or he'll be performing an osteoarticular transfer system (OATS). Recovery times will vary from a few weeks to several months. No matter what, I'll be in a wheelchair for a while.
Moving just got a whole lot more challenging.
