Help a flood victim (signal boost)

moonstone_fae and her family lost everything in the Tennessee floods. To add insult to injury, in addition to the items lost to the water, some jerk stole her family's boat and their 4-wheeler. They are in desperate need. This is a partial list she's compiling as she takes stock of the loss. I know a lot of people who read this don't have much money to spare, but take a look at her list and see if there might be some material goods you can send her way. Among other things, she mentions losing her sewing machine, fabric and notions; puppy toys and cat scratching posts; board games; scrapbooking supplies. I know a great many people reading this have similar hobbies, so if you can spare some stuff from your stash contact her. This lady needs a good dose of the human kindness I know lurks around here.

I'm so glad you posted this. I just went through all my stuff in the garage over the weekend and found a bunch of scrapbooking/art supplies that I haven't used in years. I'd love to know they are being put to use so I'll gather and send. :)

I remember. Part of what's struck me as the tragedy of this is it looks like your life has improved so much since then!

I'm just happy I could do something to help, even if it was just a small thing. *hugs*
