musicwolf just left to head back to his ship. It'll be late summer at the earliest before the kids and I get a chance to see him again. We miss him already.May. 23rd, 2009

Awards Day
May. 23rd, 2009 03:44 pmSchool let out yesterday. over the last week, both the kids got recognized at their class Awards Days. Both of them are moving up to the next grade--Ro in 5th and Kyle in 3rd.
Kyle got awards for Best Effort and Good Attendance. Due to transferring in, neither kid was eligible for Citizenship or AR awards.
Rowan got Gold awards in Literacy, Social Studies and Science, a Silver award in Math, recognition as a Peer Ambassador and a Presidential Award of Excellence for Academic Achievement. We're going to have her recognition letter from President Obama framed.
